Gleich hinter der Rügenbrücke und direkt am Sundufer grenzend, liegt das idyllische Örtchen Altefähr. Und wer als Camper seinen Urlaub auf der Insel verbringen möchte, findet hier den familien-freundlichen Campingplatz „Sund-Camp“ Altefähr. Ob Sie mit Zelt oder einem Caravan/Wohnmobil anreisen, … Sie campen in unmittelbarer Nähe der Natur. Der Campingplatz liegt auf einem Naturgrundstück und bietet sonnige und durch kleine Bäume und Hecken abgegrenzte Stellplätze, ca. 300m vom Strand entfernt. Von modernen, sanitären Einrichtungen über Elektroanschlüsse ist alles für einen komfortablen Urlaub vorhanden. Eine kleine Campingversorgung und frische Brötchen(Ostern bis September), sowie ein Imbiss werden obendrein auch geboten. Der Platz ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für idyllische Wanderungen, Radtouren und Ausflüge über die Insel Rügen. Mit der Personenfähre die vom Hafen Altefähr an und ablegt, erreichen Sie die zum Weltkulturerbe zählende Hansestadt Stralsund.

Nach Überqueren der Rügenbrücke biegen Sie die Abfahrt Altefähr ab (kurze Ausfahrt). Danach folgen Sie bitte … den Campingplatzschildern nicht der Beschilderung Altefähr. Sie fahren dann über die Bergener Straße (neue Straße). Im Ort ist der Campingplatz ausgeschildert.
