Welcome to Camping Les Genêts d'Or, the ideal place for a vacation with a relaxed atmosphere and a warm welcome. Situated in a scenic area between river, hills and vineyards, you can enjoy the tranquillity and hospitality of our caring, … family campsite. Listen to the sound of crickets and croaking frogs and look out for the beavers swimming at sunset (sometimes our guests too!). For you: to visit Camping Les Genêts d'Or will be to experience a wonderful holiday destination with the guarantee of some special moments. For us: Camping Les Genêts d'Or is a family business that we are running with passion, for several generations. You can choose to laze by the pool or on the pebble beaches by the river Cèze which runs past our campsite. Enter our "boules" contests, experience canoe rides and enjoy children's games in the pool. Go hiking and explore the local area across the vineyards or along the forest trails to the castle (Chateau de Gicon). From the castle you can enjoy a stunning view over the Rhone valley and surrounding countryside for miles around. After your exercise, relax at the bar or the restaurant by the pool which is illuminated at night. You can order your favourite dish and drink and choose one of our takeaways (salad, roast chicken, pizza, chips etc.) which you can enjoy at your own pitch with friends and family. Camping Les Genêts d'Or covers an area of 8 hectares and offers 120 pitches of 90 to 120m² either shaded or sunny, plus 8 mobile homes fully equipped for your comfort. Discover the Gard region with its charming towns like Bagnols-sur-Cèze, a lovely small typical French market town with its renowned large regional market on Wednesday; La Roque sur Cèze, Pont St. Esprit, Pierlatte, Orange, Avignon and many more. The Department of Gard is located between Ardèche, Drôme and Vaucluse. You can also easily reach the Hérault via our lovely Provençal roads
